Through the Lowlander Center’s partnership with the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, the Lowlander Center and its members have attended several gatherings and contributed to UUSC publications.
In October 2018, Lowlander Center members attended the First Peoples’ Convening on Climate-Forced Displacement (hereafter, First Peoples’ Convening). UUSC, the Climate Justice Resilience Fund (CJRF) and contributed to the resulting report: One Story: A Report of the First Peoples Convening on Climate-Forced Displacement.
Lowlander members also contributed to the publication “Community-Led, Human Rights-Based Solutions to Climate-Forced Displacement.”
