$20 million National Science Foundation Research Award will Fund Indigenous Science Hub

Haskell Indian Nations University, a Bureau of Indian Education-operated Tribal University in Lawrence, Kansas, has received a $20 million award from the National Science Foundation to lead a new research hub. In the hub Indigenous knowledge holders will work with university trained scientists to address the impacts of climate change in the contexts of their coastal communities. The Lowlander Center will be a partner in this project.
